For over 30 years, I have devoted my life to preserving human connection through photography. From private family commissions to international editorial portraiture, I have learned to anticipate the fleeting moments that define a legacy.
Today, I operate on a strict Residency Model, accepting only a limited number of commissions during my travels between the Mediterranean and Australia.
This allows me to offer families an exclusive experience that transforms time into art. Each session unfolds naturally in the places that matter most to you, creating heirlooms that honor your family’s story.

Private Commissions
Arnold Szmerling is a Visual Legacy Artist operating on an International Residency Model. Based in the Mediterranean (Israel), he travels to Australia and the UAE for limited seasonal engagements.
During these residencies, a strictly limited number of dates are released for private commissions.
The Investment: To ensure transparency for our applicants, please note our commission structure:
Creative Commission Fee: $3,000 USD (Covers pre-production, the exclusive Residency session, and creative direction. This fee does not include prints or files.)
Bespoke Artwork Collections: Range from $5,000 USD (The Editorial Box) to $20,000 USD+ (The Legacy Trunk).
To Secure Your Date: A $2,000 USD retainer is required to confirm your booking. (This retainer is deducted from your final invoice).
Enquiries: Priority is given to clients holding an Invitation Code from our partner stylists and concierges. General applications are reviewed weekly and placed on the waitlist for the upcoming season.
