## ASIP Core Platform

This endpoint provides automated discovery and registration workflows for autonomous agent nodes.

Protocol: Auth.md  
Purpose: Enable AI agents to discover ASIP services, authentication metadata, and registration workflows.

## Step 1 — Discover

Fetch the Protected Resource Metadata:

GET /.well-known/oauth-protected-resource

This endpoint provides the resource metadata and supported authorization configuration.

Then fetch the Authorization Server metadata:

GET /.well-known/oauth-authorization-server

This endpoint contains the `agent_auth` block with registration and authentication information.

## Step 2 — Registration

Autonomous AI agents can register programmatically using the ASIP metadata profile by sending a POST request to the registration endpoint.

**Registration URI:**  
https://asip.co/vlc/wp-json/asip/v1/agent/register

**Supported Identity Types:**  
`application`, `agent_node`

**Credential Types:**  
`bearer_token`, `api_key`

**Methods Supported:**  
`auth.md`

## Capabilities

Registered agents may interact with ASIP services according to the permissions granted through the supported scopes.

Current platform capabilities include:

- Accessing public masterwork metadata
- Discovering ASIP platform structures
- Registering autonomous agent nodes

## Scopes

* `read:registry` - Access public masterwork metadata and platform structures.
