To celebrate Noa’s Bat Mitzvah we produced her “photographic book”.
Worldwide Portrait Photography
Being a “people photographer specialist” and lover of Portrait Photography this category is close to my heart. I love doing environmental lifestyle portraits and capture the “inner soul” of my subject(s). It also provides an opportunity to create my own interpretation and present my clients with an alternate viewpoint of themselves.
The process often is just as important as the outcome. At times it is more than a portrait session but a learning experience and self-discovery. A portrait will often reveal something new about a person and that is a wonderful thing.” – Arnold Szmerling
This photography session felt like I was photographing family rather than clients. I have known the Gray family from when I was 7 years old.
Senidu had her glamour portraits taken in our daylight studio. Daylight is natural, flattering and adds great energy to the session.
A simple visit to a community event served as a catalyst to pursue this project. I suggested we do a Mini Cooper themed shoot with references as close the late 60’s to the 70’s era. So the concept was essentially retro while also adding our signature.
Lifestyle portraits that are taken in the client’s home add to a relaxed and engaging environment.
I took what I call a “looser approach” to this session. It was about capturing a point in time and interaction of parents, with their firstborn son and baby on the way.
