For the “Save the date” Shasha and Issac elected to have studio portraits. It gave us the opportunity to spend some time together before their big day. Using natural light offers a unique quality that is seen in the finished portraits.
Having photographed the wedding of Benedetta and Avi, it was their natural choice to have us photograph this special occasion.
This pre-wedding lifestyle session included a variety of interpretations. Including traditional, fun, fashion and editorial style imagery. Most important these images portray love and connection.
This photography session felt like I was photographing family rather than clients. I have known the Gray family from when I was 7 years old.
A simple visit to a community event served as a catalyst to pursue this project. I suggested we do a Mini Cooper themed shoot with references as close the late 60’s to the 70’s era. So the concept was essentially retro while also adding our signature.
Lifestyle portraits that are taken in the client’s home add to a relaxed and engaging environment.
I took what I call a “looser approach” to this session. It was about capturing a point in time and interaction of parents, with their firstborn son and baby on the way.
The Gordon family having all teenagers thought it was a good stage in their lives to have portraits taken.
