Provenance Methodology
Every work is authenticated by Arnold Szmerling in person. The original capture file, development notes, and session context are archived alongside the physical print.
Every work in this registry is part of a strictly limited edition. Once a work is registered, the edition is permanently closed. The registry entry serves as the digital certificate of authority for each manifestation.
Each entry carries a permanent SKU, date of registration, and acquisition history. Subsequent owners may request registry transfer upon verified acquisition.
Provenance follows the object. When a work changes hands, the registry is updated to reflect lineage — preserving the full chain of custody for secondary market confidence.
Certificate of Authenticity
Every acquisition from the Masterworks Registry is accompanied by two original hand-signed documents, mailed separately from the artwork for security and archival safety.
